KindBuys has finally launched its Product Database! Here's some information to help get you started.
What is it?
At KindBuys, we value product transparency, ethics, and sustainability. The product database is a way to check if a product has any third-party sustainable and/or ethical certifications. To see a list of what certifications we look for, check out our certification glossary.
How do I use it?
You can enter a product UPC, product name, or company name to find matching products. You can then view the certifications on the product and see what those certifications mean.
What if I can't find the product I'm looking for?
We are working hard to expand the database quickly, and we are adding new products every day. If you don't see what you are looking for, please let us know using our contact form and we will prioritize it and get back to you with status updates.
What if I see incorrect data?
We work hard to be thorough in our research, but sometimes we make mistakes. We've added a feature for you to easily flag any product that you feel has inaccurate data, and we will make sure to investigate as soon as possible. In addition, we encourage businesses to manage their products on their own, that way you can be sure the certification data is up-to-date. If you are viewing a product that is managed by its owner, you'll see a "company verified" badge on it. If you are a business owner and are interested in including/managing your products in our database, please let us know using this form.
