Ceylon Tea Academy

Ceylon Tea Academy provides formal education, vocational skills and training on high quality, natural tea and supports the development of the local tea sector. They educate locals on the health benefits of drinking tea and the importance of sustainable tea chains that minimize the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and other synthetic inputs. Ceylon Tea Academy, in collaboration with Australian Tea Masters, has created various courses with sliding scales to make their programs accessible to even the most disadvantaged groups in Sri Lanka. Australian Tea Masters is an institute accredited by the Government of Australia.


Ceylon Threads

Ceylon Threads specializes in ethical and sustainable linenwear for all ages. They create employment opportunities for rural women in Sri Lanka and are committed to providing fair pay and a safe, positive, and nurturing working environment. Linen requires minimal energy and water to produce, uses the entire flax plant, and is breathable, durable, and naturally biodegradable. Ceylon Threads follows zero waste design principles. They manufacture in small batches and use scrap materials to produce scrunchies, patchwork table mats and other accessories.


Ceylon Vanilla Company

Ceylon Vanilla Company works with nearly 80 small-scale vanilla growers to grow and cure premium Sri Lankan vanilla beans and develop unique value-added products, including pure vanilla paste, extract and powder, and vanilla infused butter, sugar, kithul syrup, coconut vinegar, virgin coconut oil, tea and coffee. They invest in suppliers to help them expand vanilla production, and encourage consumers to source locally in order to benefit the community and expand the sector.


Ceylon Wellness

Ceylon Wellness is a responsible tour company that organizes travel experiences focused on relaxation, stress reduction, physical fitness, and personal growth. Itineraries include self-discovery programs, couple retreats, yoga, meditation, ayurveda and spa treatments, surfing, trekking and camping.


Ceynergy

Ceynergy supports energy independence and clean water by providing sustainable solutions to the construction industry in Sri Lanka. They offer solar panels, inverters, and batteries, energy-saving solar optical films, heat-reducing roofing, and water and wastewater treatment plants. All systems are designed and installed by engineers and technicians accredited by the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority. Ceynergy sponsors work-related education and provides personal safety equipment to all workers. They worked with their technology partner StorTera to provide solar energy in a remote village without access to electricity, roads, or other infrastructure.


Ceysalt

Ceysalt specializes in natural cold-processed soaps, scrubs, and skincare products that are made from local and sustainably sourced ingredients like tamarind, coconut, sandalwood, and aloe vera. They make it easier to access safe, nourishing, and environmentally conscious products in Sri Lanka. Ceysalt supports producers from a low income community and reinvests profits to expand their livelihood opportunities.


CFM Market Linkages

CFM Market Linkages creates sustainable livelihood opportunities, empowers women, and helps marginalized artisans in India move from poverty to economic independence. They partner with artisan communities and assist with product innovation, design, skill development, process improvements, seed capital, quality assurance training, and access to global markets. CFM Market Linkages specializes in jewelry, bags, and housewares made from recycled brass, fabric, plastic, and paper and sustainably sourced natural mango wood, bone, horn, raffia, and jute. They ensure artisans have fair wages and a safe working environment, and they offer an after-school program for underprivileged children.


C for Conscious

C for Conscious provides branding, marketing, communications, and sustainability services to conscious brands. They help brands add sustainability and ethical practices to their existing brand strategy, give meaning and authentic voice to their sustainability initiatives, and make their brand ethics resonate with their customers. Plans are custom tailored to each brand's needs and budget to ensure that services are accessible to small organizations. C for Conscious is particularly focused on changing that way that fashion is designed, produced, and consumed. They actively promote greater transparency, sustainability, and consideration for local crafts. A percent of profits is donated to local community initiatives and partner organizations working to increase sustainability in the fashion industry.


CFS Prithipura

CFS Prithipura is a home for people with physical and mental disabilities that has been in operation since 1962. They provide care in a community environment that enables residents to live life to the fullest. There are currently 70 residents ranging from 7 to 60 years old. Most of them have been abandoned or orphaned and do not have anywhere else they can call home. The center includes ramps, wheelchairs, walkers and other facilities for maximum mobility. They offer speech therapy, wellness, and learning programs adapted to each individual's capabilities and needs. CFS Prithipura has started a home garden to grow their own vegetables and an arts and crafts initiative to produce cards, bags, and other handmade products for sale. All donations and revenue are used to maintain the home and provide services and facilities for residents.


CHAKO Zanzibar

CHAKO aims to protect Zanzibar's environment, empower local women, and increase economic opportunity by enabling artisan craft producers to expand their product ranges and connect with broader markets. The tourism industry creates opportunities for people in Zanzibar, but it also generates waste that is difficult to process on the island. CHAKO started by collecting empty glass bottles from hotels and restaurants and upcycling them into modern tableware, containers, lighting fixtures, and more. Over the years, they have expanded to new waste materials, new products, and new markets around the world. Through design thinking workshops, artisan craft workers learn by doing and create new solutions for waste. The team has developed a human-powered bike shredder for plastic and beach bags made from old rice sacks and dhow sails. CHAKO particularly focuses on training, employment, and wellness opportunities for women and encourages them to be creative and find their strength and power. CHAKO Zanzibar is a guaranteed member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).


Chakra

Chakra produces natural incense, tie-dye clothing and housewares using environmentally responsible techniques. They focus on providing employment opportunities for people who cannot go out of the home to work. Shopping bags are made from upcycled newspapers.


Chamomile Home

Chamomile Home creates comfortable, ethically made cotton sleepwear, loungewear, and casual clothing for men and women that bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern wardrobes. They work with rural weavers in Katwa, West Bengal to produce handloom khadi fabrics and with artisans in Sanganer, Rajasthan to produce vegetable dye block printed fabrics. The finished products are made in their own studio in Chembur, Mumbai. Chamomile Home designs clothing to last and follows a just-in-time, low quantity production system to minimize waste. Products are wrapped in compostable kraft paper and shipped in compostable plant starch mailers. Chamomile Home is a member of Catalyst 2030.


Champion Life

Champion Life delivers long-term, measurable, improvement in the physical health, mental health, and wellbeing of people who need it most. Their online preventative health platform integrates guided functional movement and wellbeing programs with monitoring and analytics technology to facilitate ongoing engagement and behavior change. Programs are customized for specific populations, including students, seniors, and people with disabilities. Their guided physical activity videos are presented by role models relatable to each community. Champion Life works with schools, aged care organizations, and other partners to ensure products are free of charge for low-income users.


Cham’s Goodies

Cham's Goodies specializes in baked goods and detox drinks made from sustainably sourced local fruits, vegetables, and grains. They use local rice flour and kurakkan millet flour as an alternative to imported wheat. Gluten-free, keto, and vegan options are available. Cham's Goodies offers healthy recipes to customers and free classes for children. Two percent of every sale is used to support their partner farmers.


Chandi's Kitchen

Chandi's Kitchen offers traditional Sri Lankan food made from healthy, local ingredients. Products include kola kenda herbal porridge, kurakkan millet roti and halapa, belimal and ranawara herbal teas, ambarella, pineapple, and guava achcharu, and local fruit juices. Chandi's Kitchen is committed to plastic free operations. They compost their banana leaf wrappers and all food waste.


Chandraleka

Chandraleka brings environmentally responsible traditional village products to urban consumers. For more than 20 years, they have been sourcing pure buffalo milk curd from a single farmer in Debarawewa, Tissamaharama. Their kithul palm syrup comes from two traditional kithul tappers, one in Lakshapana and one in Kotmale. Chandraleka Mihiri Mee Kiri is committed to long-term fair trade relationships, and over the years, they have built a reputation in Colombo for their village-style curd and treacle.


Change Please

Change Please is a social enterprise that supports people out of homelessness through coffee. They provide barista training, living wage employment, and access to housing, therapy, and onward opportunities. Their training center is accredited by the Specialty Coffee Association and covers everything from roasting to customer service. Change Please directly manages multiple carts and cafes, supplies coffee to a network of coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, offices, gyms, trains, planes, and contract caterers, and sells retail coffee and other products online. They prioritize ethically sourced beans, compostable cups, and merchandise made from certified organic cotton. One hundred percent of profits are reinvested to expand impact. Change Please is registered as a Community Interest Company and is a member of Social Enterprise UK.


Change Please USA

Change Please USA sells coffee to fight homelessness and change lives in the United States. They supply retail and wholesale coffee, operate cafes, and provide barista training, work experience, and employment coaching to people experiencing homelessness. Change Please USA pays trainees a living wage throughout the program and provides graduates with one-to-one support to identify and pursue roles aligned with their career goals. They source direct trade coffee and ensure suppliers pay fair practices, reduce waste, and shift to environmentally responsible practices. Their Charlotte training academy and cafe is located in the Innovation Barn, a sustainability hub with low-energy lighting, upcycled furnishing, and onsite composting that is supporting the transition to a circular economy. Change Please USA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and reinvests all surplus towards their purpose.


Chani Kiri Hala

Chani Kiri Hala offers affordable natural dairy products from Wewalwatta, Ratnapura, supports rural livelihoods, and provides an alternative to imported milk. The farmers' cows are domestic breeds adapted to local conditions. They have access to five acres of grassland during the day and shelter at night. Chani Kiri Hala sells fresh milk in glass bottles, which they collect for sterilization and reuse. Five percent of sales are used for a farmers' welfare fund.


Chanila Products

Chanila Products produces hygienic dried fish in Sri Lanka to provide a healthy, environmentally responsible alternative to imported canned products. They offer katta, kelawalla, and wanna dried fish, dry fish powder, and ready-to-eat mixes. Chanila Products works with small boat fishermen from Kudawella and Dikwella who employ traditional, sustainable fishing techniques to support local livelihoods and promote responsible fishing practices. They package products in glass bottles or vacuum packs and collect used packaging materials for recycling.
